SOUND OFF artistic director wins Guy Laliberté Prize

SOUND OFF artistic director Chris Dodd was recently honored by the Canada Council for the Arts with the Guy Laliberté Prize which highlights the creative and innovative leadership of a Canadian artist.

Chris is both the founder and artistic director of SOUND OFF, a theatre festival devoted to the performing arts for the Deaf, as well as an artist in his own right who contributes to positive change in society by shining a light on the practice of Deaf artists. Chris will officially receive the prize in February as part of SOUND OFF Festival events happening here in Edmonton.
