The Horse of Blue

A creation of Voyageurs Immobiles, Cie de création, in co-production with the Théâtre de la Vieille 17.

Red horse, green horse, wooden horse, iron horse: you can own a thousand horses, but nothing to do, there is nothing better than a horse of blue. Just one of his tears can become an ocean, whale, or fish! With passion, a little girl tells us the equine stories passed on by her grandfather, because even if his rocking chair no longer swings, something very precious still remains.

A hearing actress and a Deaf actor share this sublime theatrical score on transmission. Here, the movement of speech and the poetry of gesture are in symbiosis.

The play is designed for children 6 and up and their adults, hearing and Deaf alike.

Cheval rouge, cheval vert, cheval de bois, cheval de fer : on peut posséder mille chevaux, mais rien à faire, il n’y a pas mieux qu’un cheval de bleu. Une seule de ses larmes peut devenir océan, baleine, poissons ! Avec fougue, une petite fille nous raconte les histoires équines léguées par son grand-père, car même si son fauteuil à bascule ne balance plus, quelque chose reste de très précieux.

Une actrice entendante et un acteur sourd se partagent cette sublime partition théâtrale sur la transmission. Ici, le mouvement de la parole et la poésie du geste sont en symbiose.
